1. Description:
Coated sand (Coated Sand): The sand surface has already been covered a layer of solid resin film before shaping.
2. Raw Materials: Scrub sand, phenolic resin, calcium stearate, methenamine
Notes: Scrub sand: The natural silica sand should be scrubbed, water washing, grading and drying. Its clay content is less than 0.5%.
3. How to make coated sand?
The commonest methods is the hot methods.
1)Preheat the sand to a certain temperature, and add resin to be melt.
2)Blend the resin to cover the sand surface.
3)Add methenamine and lubricants.
4) Get coated sand after cooling, crushing and grading.
4. How does the whole set of equipment work?
1)The sand is hoisted into the sand bucket by NO. 1 Sand Bin;
2)after reaching a demanded weight, the sand enters into the heater;
3)after reaching the demanded temperature, the sand enters into Sand Mixer;
4)Add resin by a worker;
5)after coating, automatically spray methenamine liquid;
6)add calcium stearate
7)automatically cool and crush
8)sand enters into cooling screen.
9)after coarse screen, cooling and fine sieve, sand is elevated to be secondly cooled.
10)get finished coated sand.
